I grew up in Gyffin, just outside Conwy where my parents ran a small guest house. I went to Ysgol Aberconwy and then on to Coleg Llandrillo. I have worked in several different roles over my career in retail, hospitality and finance. I also ran a successful business for five years in Colwyn Bay. I have a great deal of knowledge and experience in business including accounting, VAT, payroll and human resources plus strong academic credentials including a business degree, ILM level 5 in Leadership and Management, AAT accounts and of course CeMAP qualification for mortgage advice.

I have a lovely wife and we have four children between us age from 18 to 24 and a dog called Maggie. We enjoy long walks in our beautiful local surroundings in Abergele, cosy nights in front of the log burner, travelling and cooking.
